Leitrim's Overall Sports Star of the Year Award winner for 2023 and All-Ireland gaelic football winner with Dublin, Eilish O'Dowd, has joined Australian AFL team Great Western Sydney Giants.
The Ballinamore native completed the move this week after spending recent weeks on trial down under.
She's the second Leitrim player to make the move with Kiltubrid's Áine Tighe already playing with the Freemantle Dockers.
The Giants are the former club of Mayo's Coro Staunton, forged an impressive career with the Sydney outfit in recent seasons.

25-year-old O'Dowd becomes the fourth Irish player signed by the Giants since 2016.
