UL are now just won more win away from a second consecutive Sigerson Cup final appearance.
Donegal's Shane O'Donnell scored three points for DCU on the night - but they bow out.
The semi-final draw for third level gaelic football's All-Ireland Championship is:
UCD v UL
Maynooth University v Ulster University.
The semi-finals will be played on Thursday, February 8th - with the final taking place in MTU Kerry the following weekend.
