There was disappointment for Letterkenny IT in Thursday night's Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup semi-final in Inniskeen as Michael Murphy's side lost to IT Carlow on a final scoreline of 2-9 to 1-9.
The match appeared to be heading for extra-time with the sides level at 1-9 each until Carlow's Adam Steed popped up to score the match-winning goal in the dying moments.

IT Carlow had knocked out holders UCC in the previous round, while Letterkenny
In Thursday night's other semi-final, St Naul's Brendan McCole was prominent in DCU's 1-15 to 0-3 win against Dublin rivals UCD.
The Sigerson final will be played next Wednesday, Jan 29th, in DCU at 7:30pm.
