Tubbecurry's Liam Kerrigan has been forced to withdraw from the Republic of Ireland under-21 squad for Friday's Euro play-off first leg game against Israel.

The Como 1907 player is one of four to pull out of Jim Crawford's squad because of injury.

Burnley's Dara Costelloe, NAC Breda’s Anselmo Garcia MacNulty and St. Patrick’s Athletic duo Adam O’Reilly and David Odumosu have been called up to the squad.

They replace Kerrigan, Barnsley’s Luca Connell , Sheffield Wednesday’s Mark McGuinness and Cork City’s David Harrington.
