Limerick GAA has moved to refute newspaper reports that Sligo sports psychologist and performance coach Caroline Currid will stay with the All-Ireland champions for the 2022 season.
She won widespread praise for her involvement with Limerick hurlers during their All-Ireland winning seasons of 2018, 2020 and 2021, having previously helped the Tyrone (2008) and Dublin (2011) footballers and Tipperary hurlers (2010) to All-Ireland's too.
A native of Ballinfull near Grange in norht Sligo, she had been linked in recent days with a new role at Munster Rugby.
It was understood she would continue to work with Limerick for the 2022 season - but a statement issued by Limerick GAA on Wednesday clarified that no decision had been made yet on the composition of the senior hurling backroom team for next year.
