Donegal lost out by 1-16 to 1-10 to Monaghan at St Tiernach's Park in Clones in Division One of the Allianz National Football League on Sunday, despite Jamie Brennan's first half goal.
Mayo's heavy defeat at home to Tyrone on the same day means that Donegal will host Mayo in a relegation decider in Ballybofey next week, with the winners staying up and the losing side relegated to Division Two.

Meanwhile, Sligo's game away to Offaly in Division Three, and Leitrim's Division Four tie against Waterford will both take place on bank holiday Monday having been postponed due to weather.
