There will be plenty of Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal interest in Wednesday evening's Sigerson Cup final between DCU and UCD at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence in Mayo.
Sligo's Luke Marren (Bunninadden), Eoghan Smith (Drumcliffe/Rosses POint), Sean Carroll & Lee Deignan (both Shamrock Gaels are all part of the DCU squad, as are the Ballinamore Sean O'Heslin's duo of Tom Prior and Paul Moran.
The squad also includes two players from the Downings club in Donegal - Ronan Gallagher and Johnny McGroddy.
McGroddy was one of DCU's semi-final heroes last week, coming off the bench to hit four points in their 0-14 to 0-10 win against last year's winners Ulster University.
There are local connections on the UCD squad too.
The team is captained by Boyle's Daire Cregg, whose brother Oisín is also in the squad.
Glencar/Manorhamilton's Barry McNulty scored one of the winning penalty kicks in UCD's shoot-out semi-final win over Technological University Dublin.
However, the midfielder, and current Leitrim senior vice-captain, looks like missing Wednesday's decider because of an injury picked up in that game last week.
Leitrim's Paul Honeyman (Ballinamore SOH) and Donegal's Bobby McGettigan (Termon) are also part of the UCD panel.
Wedneday evening's final throws in at 7:30pm - and will be televised live by TG4.
