Longford to host Rovers and Harps in pre-season friendlies

Sligo Rovers are set to face Longford Town in a pre-season friendly in January.

The midlands club, who were relegated from the top-flight last season, have confirmed a friendly against the Bit O’ Red at the City Calling Stadium in Longford on Tuesday, January 31 at 7.45pm.

It is the first pre-season game so far confirmed for Dave Robertson’s side.

Longford will also host Finn Harps in a friendly the following Saturday, February 4, at 4pm.
