Sligo senior gaelic footballers are through to the quarter-finals of the inaugural Tailteann Cup following a 3-15 to 2-16 victory over a gutsy London after extra-time at Markievicz Park on Saturday evening.
Sligo goalkeeper Aidan Devaney, crucially, saved a London penalty in the second period of extra-time.
Curry's Alan Reilly scored 1-6 on the night - and it was his last-gasp point in added time at the end of normal time, which took the match into the extra period (2-11 each).
Sligo played most of the match without their injured talisman Niall Murphy.
He didn't start the game - but was introduced late on in normal time, only to be subbed off again a few moments later.
The Yeats County now join Andy Moran's Leitrim, Cavan and Fermanagh in the quarter-final draw for the Northern Section of the new All-Ireland Tier 2 competition, which will be made on RTÉ radio 1 on Monday morning at 8:35am.
Saturday's Tailteann Cup 1st round results (Northern Section):
Sligo 3-15 London 2-16 (after extra-time)
Leitrim 2-14 Antrim 1-12
Longford 0-12 Fermanagh 1-12
Cavan 0-24 Down 1-12.
