Lucy Conlon Oates from Collooney Kickboxing Club has won gold at the WAKO European Cadetss & Juniors Kickboxing Championships in Gyor, Hungary.
The Sligo girl beat an Italian opponent in Friday's final.
Áine Conlon, who's Lucy's mum, and also coaches the 12-year-old along with lead coach Des Leonard, spoke to Ocean FM Sport from Hungary after Lucy won gold:

Sligo Mugendo's Nora Walsh has claimed silver in her event, while another Collooney competitor, PJ Scanlon secured a bronze medal in his competition.
