Birmingham City's Lucy Quinn marked her senior international debut for Ireland on Tuesday night by scoring in their 3-2 win against Olympic semi-finalists Australia in a friendly international at Tallaght Stadium.
Quinn only received her Irish passport last week.
She is connected to Sligo by her grandather Edward Quinn, who comes from Ballymote.
It's understood his wife Rose is a native of Ballyjamesduff in county Cavan.

Quinn spoke to RTÉ Sport after Tuesday night's victory.
