Just days after breaking his own Irish 800 metres record and securing his place at the Paris Olympics, Donegal's Mark English improved his Irish record again on Friday evening in Madrid.
The 31-year-old clocked a time of 1:44.53 to finish fourth in the 800m at the World Athletics Continental Tour event in Spain.
His time improved his record set in Finland last week by .16 seconds.
