MCR FC are on the verge of clinching Sligo Leitrim's Southern Hotel Super League title in junior soccer following Wednesday night's 5-1 win away to Manor Rangers.
Goals from Donagh Crowne (2), Jordan Harte (2) and an own goal maintained MCR's six-point lead over Carbury with two league games remaining.
Carbury were 6-1 winners over Coolaney United.
Prior to kick-off in Manor, both the home side and MCR observed a minute's silence in memory of Manor Rangers player Oran Gethins who was killed in a traffic accident last weekend.
