The Mercy College Sligo senior girls basketball team won the All-Ireland U19 'C' Schools Cup on Wednesday with a comprehensive 44-25 win over Naas Community College (Kildare) at the National Basketball Arena.
Anna McDaniel was in peerless form for the Mercy as she contributed an impressive 31 points to her team's total.
That win came just a couple of hours after Summerhill College won the boys U16 'B' schools title with a 33-26 win over CBS Thurles.
