Mickey Graham leaves Leitrim after 64 days

Leitrim GAA have announced that their new senior football team manager, Mickey Graham, is stepping down from his role just two months after taking up the job.

Graham, a former Ulster championship-winning player and manager with Cavan, succeeded Andy Moran as Leitrim bainisteoir on August 5th.

However, a county committee meeting took place on Tuesday evening, where officers were informed of Graham's decision to resign.

In a statement published afterwards, the county board said that "circumstances beyond his control have led to him making this decision and regrettably, for all concerned, he will not be continuing in his appointed position."

Leitrim GAA says it will now begin a new process of appointing a senior team manager.
