There were mixed fortunes for Sligo handballers in Sunday's All-Ireland and provincial finals around the country.
Ballymote's Laura Finn was beaten in the All-Ireland Women's Intermediate Final at the Abbeylara Handball Complex in Co Longford.
She lost to Dublin's Meadhbh Ni Dhalaigh 21-20 21-10.
This result came just 24 hours after Laura's younger brother Cormac lifted the boys All-Ireland minor softball title in Roscommon.
The Ballymote-Collooney combination ofColin Finn and Travis Gibbons beat their Galway opponents from Moycullen by two games to nil to win the Connacht boys under-14 doubles title.
Daniel Slevin from Drumcliffe Handball Club was another provincial finalist in the under-14 singles - but he lost out to his Galway opponent by two games to nil.
