Sligo swimmer Mona McSharry has qualified for the final of the women's 100 metres breaststroke at the Tokyo Olympics.
The Grange girl finished fourth in her semi-final in the early hours of Monday morning, clocking a time of 1min 06.59secs.
That was quick enough to qualify eight fastest for the Olympic final.
She gets through by one hundred of a second ahead of Chelsea Hodges of Australia.

McSharry is just the second Irish swimmer ever to qualify for an Olympic final.

The 20-year-old is competing at her first summer Olympics - and has reached an Olympic final at the first attempt.
The final of the women's 100 metres breaststroke takes place on Tuesday.
