Donegal senior football champions Naomh Conaill are through to the 2019 Ulster senior club final after an impressive 0-12 to 0-9 win against Clontibret of Monaghan at Healy Park in Omagh on Saturday night.
It was a thoroughly deserved win for Martin Regan's side who led by 0-7 to 0-3 at half-time despite having full-back AJ Gallagher black-carded for a foul on Clontibret's Vinnie Corey.
Ciaran Thompson landed some exquisite long-range points in both halves - and the Glenties/Fintown men looked the hungrier and tidier team for much of the contest.
Man of the Match Eoghan McGettigan gave this reaction to Charlie Collins after the win:

Naomh Conaill now await the winners of Sunday's semi-final between Derrygonnelly Harps (Fermanagh) and Kilcoo (Down).

Earlier, there was disappointment for the Donegal junior champions Buncrana, who lost their Ulster club final against Blackhill Emeralds of Monaghan by five points. Buncrana had led by three at half-time, but their opponents finished the stronger.
