Sligo County Council and Connacht Rugby have launched a new County Sligo Rugby Development Programme, which aims to enhance the growth and development of rugby in the region and provide opportunities for developing young athletes.
The Programme will provide comprehensive coaching, training, and support to young players in the region.
By fostering a strong rugby culture and nurturing talent, the initiative aims to create a pathway for players to progress to higher levels of the sport.
Central to the new programme is the appointment of a new Sligo Rugby Development Officer - Ross Mannion.
