Sligo’s Nicole Fowley has been named in the Ireland Six Nations squad by head coach Scott Bemand.
Fowley is one of five Connacht players included.
The others are Béibhinn Parsons, Aoibheann Reilly, Méabh Deely and Edel McMahon.
Eight uncapped players are included in the squad of 40 players for the championship.

Ireland’s opening Six Nations game is at home to France on Saturday, March 22nd at Kingspan Stadium (Ravenhill) in Belfast.
