Paul Henry is new Sligo minor manager

Curry's Paul Henry has been ratified as Sligo's new minor gaelic football manager for the 2021 season.

He succeeds Daragh Fallon, who guided the Yeats County to a Connacht final in what was a shortened 2020 season.

Henry was in charge of the county under-16 team in 2020. Their competitive season was curtailed by the pandemic.

In his new minor role, Henry will be assisted by Tubbercurry's Colm McGee, Coolera/Strandhill's Enda Mitchell, Enniscrone's John Paul Carden and Ross Donovan from Eastern Harps.

The draw for the 2021 Connacht minor football championship was made earlier this week.

Sligo have been paired with Leitrim in a Connacht semi-final on April 9th.

Connacht GAA plans to run off the minor championship during the month of April but this is subject to where Covid regulations stand at that time.

All minor championship matches will be played at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence.
