Paul Taylor has made a quick return to football management - by agreeing managing Roscommon club side Kilmore for the 2021 season.
Kilmore confirmed the appointment in a statement on Social Media on Saturday evening:
“Kilmore GAA are delighted to confirm the appointment of former Sligo player and manager Paul Taylor as the new manager of our intermediate team.
“Paul brings with him great experience in both playing and management.
“We wish Paul the very best of luck."
Taylor was appointed Sligo manager in 2018 but stepped down last November shortly after the county's decision to withdraw from the Connacht football championship in the wake of a Covid outbreak in the Sligo squad.
The Eastern Harps man will now attempt to guide Kilmore to a first intermediate football championship title in Roscommon since 2016.
He succeeds Cian Smith who has taken over as Boyle's senior football manager this year.
