Play in the Connolly's Audi Centenary West of Ireland Championship began early on Friday morning at County Sligo Golf Club as the prestigious amateur championship celebrates its 100th year.
126 golfers are teeing it up this weekend - and they'll play two rounds of strokeplay golf over Friday and Saturday before the field is reduced to 90 players.
There's a further strokeplay round on Sunday, which will then see the field is whittled down to the top 16 golfers.
The top 16 will contest the matchplay stages over Easter Monday and Tuesday.
