The reception for the Sligo U20 gaelic footballers has been cancelled.
The reception, due to be hosted this Friday by Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council, Councillor Michael Clarke, has been called off due to the team having other commitments.
2023 was an outstanding year for Sligo's U20s, as they won a second successive Connacht championship, and were runners-up in the All-Ireland final against Kildare.
