Rooney hoping hard work will stand to Glencar/Manor

The countdown is on to Sunday’s Leitrim county final, as Glencar/Manorhamilton and Mohill go head-to-head in a repeat of the 2015 decider.

The north Leitrim side are contesting their third final in a row, but had to knock out last year’s senior champions Aughawillan and intermediate champions Ballinamore along the way.

Boss Aidan Rooney says that a lot of work has gone in to getting his side to this point…

Sunday’s final is live on Ocean FM in association with MacManus Pharmacy Manorhamilton.

Meanwhile, the venue has been confirmed for Glencar/Manor’s Junior B Championship final on Saturday evening.

The game against Mohill will take place in Kiltubrid at 5pm.

The club’s U15 side also have a final on Saturday.

They play Dromahair at Glencar Community Park at 2pm in the U15 Championship Shield Final.
