Ross McCarrick to be remembered with tournament in the Showgrounds

Sixteen teams from the across North West will descend on the Showgrounds this Saturday to contest the second Ross McCarrick Memorial Cup.

Ross, who passed away last June after a short illness, was an avid Sligo Rovers and Liverpool F.C fan.

Following the sudden passing of the fifteen-year-old Ross last year, his friends and family organised the 'Ross McCarrick Memorial Cup" in his honour.

James Lawlor is a member of the organising committee of the tournament and he details more with John Lynch.
