Derry City 2 Sligo Rovers 1
Sligo Rovers conceded a 95th minute penalty at the Brandywell to go down 2-1 to Derry City in Friday night's eventful SSE Airtricity Premier Division game.
Rovers Keeper Luke McNicholas brilliantly saved a Ben Doherty spot kick eight minutes from the end of normal time following a John Mahon handball.
However, in the fifth minute of injury time, Derry were awarded a second penalty - and this time Will Patching converted to give the Candystripes all three points.
It was cruel luck on Rovers who recovered well from Jamie McGonigle's first-half goal to equalise through their former Derry player Danny Lafferty.
