St. Eunan’s and Donegal footballer Shane O'Donnell has been announced as the 2024 recipient of the Séamus Mac Géidigh Memorial Award, Gradam Shéamuis Mhic Géidigh.
The award, for the best player in the Donegal Senior Football Championship is named in honour of much-respected RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta broadcaster Séamus Mac Géidigh who passed away suddenly in July 2016.
O'Donnell, who was part of the St. Eunan’s team that won the Dr Maguire Cup in 2024, joins illustrious company on the list of award winners.
