The Showgrounds and Finn Park will both face pitch inspections ahead of this weekend's season-opening League of Ireland games for Sligo Rovers and Finn Harps.
The status orange snow warning for counties Sligo and Donegal has prompted league organisers to schedule a 10am inspection on Friday for Ballyfofey, where Finn Harps are due to play Drogheda United on Friday night in their opening SSE Airtricity League Premier Division fixture.
A similar inspection will take place on Saturday morning at the Showgrounds ahead of Sligo Rovers opening home game against Bohemians.
Bray Wanderers’ ground, the Carlisle Grounds, which is due to host Bray's first division game with Cork City, will also be inspected on Friday morning as a result of the weather forecast - and the FAI says it is monitoring other venues as well as Storm Eunace moves across the country.
