Donegal and Sligo can start making their plans for the All-Ireland quarter-finals next weekend, after successfully topping their groups in the new round-robin system in the TG4 championships.
Donegal were narrow winners against Kerry in Dr Hyde Park on Saturday, with Eilish Ward's first-half goal proving crucial in a 1-13 to 3-6 victory.
They will now face Armagh once again in the last eight, having beaten the Orchard girls comfortably in this year's Ulster final.
Armagh lost by 1-19 to 1-7 to Cork yesterday, but still finished second in their group as Monaghan were eliminated.
If Donegal overcome Armagh again in the quarter-finals, they would face either Cork or Westmeath in the semi-final.
The other quarter-finals will see Galway play Mayo and Dublin face Kerry.
In the Intermediate Championship, goals in each half from Laura-Ann Laffey and Elaine O'Reilly secured an impressive 2-13 to 1-13 win for Sligo against Laois in Kinnegad on Sunday.
Sligo top Group One and will face Group Two runners-up Wicklow in the quarter-finals. The winners will play the side that comes through the quarter-final involving Tyrone and Wexford.
On the other side of the draw, Clare will play Meath and Connacht champions Roscommon will face Laois in the last eight.
