Sligo senior men's rugby team suffered their third defeat of the season so far in the Energia AIL Division 2B as they were beaten by league leaders 35-15 at Hamilton Park in Strandhill on Saturday.
Sligo scored the game's opening try through Darragh Feehily, but unbeaten Greystones replied with four first-half tries to secure the bonus point and lead 28-10 at half-time.
The home side rallied in the second-half through tries from Cathal Finneran and Andrew Ward but Greystones made sure of maintaining their 100 per cent record in Division 2B so far with a fifth try late in the match to run out 35-15 winners.
