There was no joy for Sligo in Saturday's Eirgrid All-Ireland under-20 football semi-final at Kingspan Breffin in Cavan, as Kildare ran out winners on a final scoreline of 0-12 to 0-7.
The Lillywhites lead by 0-8 to 0-3 and while Sligo did reduce their advantage to two points at one stage in the second-half, the Leinster side always looked the more likely winners - with their well organised defence restricting Sligo to just four second-half scores.
Sligo manager Dessie Sloyan spoke to Ocean FM Sport's Rian Bailey after the game:
Kildare now await the winners of Sunday's semi-final between Kerry and Tyrone, which is being played in Portlaoise at 1pm.
