There was disappointment for the Sligo LGFA under-16 gaelic football team on Saturday as they lost out to Roscommon in the Connacht 'A' championship final in Bekan, on a final scoreline of 3-10 to 2-7.
The Sligo girls played courageously throughout but Roscommon's three first-half goals set the platform for the victory.
It's the county's first ever provincial football title success at this age grade.
