Sligo LGFA minor gaelic footballers were well beaten by Longford in Wednesday evening's All-Ireland minor 'B' semi-final in Boyle, on a final scoreline of 5-14 to 2-7.
Four first-half goals for Longford did the damage in this game as the Shannonsiders led by 4-6 to 0-3 by half-time.
Sligo showed commendable battling qualities in the second-half and and scored two goals in that period but Longford were comfortable and worthy winners by the finish.
