Sligo under-20 gaelic footballers were beaten by Roscommon in Wednesday evening's Connacht semi-final at Dr Hyde Pak, on a final scoreline of 4-13 to 2-12.
Roscommon led by 1-8 to 0-3 at half-time and looked to be cruising - but Sligo staged a commendable rally after the second-half water break and Sean Carroll's goal helped reduce Roscommon's lead to just four points as the match entered the closing stages.
However, the concession of two goals by Sligo in a crazy 60-second period ended their hopes.
