Despite trailing for much of the game, Tourlestrane nudged in front at the right time to beat Calry/St Joseph's by 1-9 to 0-11 in their Homeland Sligo Senior Football Championship Group Two meeting at Markievicz Park on Sunday.
James Leonard's first half goal brought the reigning champions back into the game after they trailed by 0-7 to 0-2 after the opening 20 minutes.
Calry/St Joseph's pushed into a 0-11 to 1-4 win after half-time, but Tourlestrane finished strongly to win by a single point.
Elsewhere on Sunday, Tubbercurry were 1-16 to 2-8 winners over Shamrock Gaels in Group One.
