Sligo County Convention takes place this evening

The Sligo County Convention will take place in the Radisson Hotel this evening at 7pm.

There will be a new secretary and assistant secretary elected on the night.

Bernadine McGauran and Bill O’Kelly-Lynch are the nominees to succeed Gerry O’Connor as secretary.

Cathal Mullaney and Donie Kirby are nominated for the assistant secretary role.

Coaching officer Padraig Clancy and development officer John McPartland

Chairman Joe Taaffe and treasurer Peter Greene will be among those re-elected unopposed.
