Sligo's Nathan Mullen and Conan Marren were part of the NUI Galway team that defeated University of Limerick to win third-level college's Sigerson Cup in Carlow on Wednesday evening.
Coolaney/ Mullinabreena's Mullen played the full 60 minutes at left half-back, while Marren of Tourlestrane was amongst the substitutes as the Galway university captured the premier prize in third-level college's Gaelic Football for the first time in 19 years.
The two players, who are current members of Tony McEntee's Sligo senior football panel were joined by fellow Sligo native and former Yeats County captain Kevin McDonnell who was part of the victorious management team.
Mullen and Marren are former students of St. Attracta's Community School, Tubbercurry.
They spoke to Ocean FM Sport's Austin O'Callaghan following Wednesday night's victory.
