Sligo women's rugby team were edged out by Creggs in Sunday's Bank of Ireland Connacht Senior League semi-final at Hamilton Park in Strandhill.
Creggs won 15-10 to end Sligo's unbeaten run in the league this season.
Seven wins and one draw had seen Gabriel Gormley's side qualify impressively for the league play-offs.
In challenging weather conditions, Sligo pushed Creggs all the way in Sunday's semi-final, but the visitors, who had established a 15-5 lead at half-time were able to hold on for the win.

Tuam/Ougherard won Sunday's other semi-final against University of Galway.
