There's a whole host of local nominees in the Connacht Rugby awards this season.
Diarmuid O'Connell has been nominated for the Connacht Rugby Mens U18 Player of the Year. The Sligo Grammar student and Carrick on Shannon Rugby club member is up against Galwegians' Rory Gavin and Corinthians' Sean Walsh for the award.
Sligo Rugby Club coach Paddy Pearson is nominated for the Coach of the Year, while Ambrose Bamber and Tom Gormley are up for Senior Club Player of the Year.
Sligo Grammar and Summerhill are both up for School of the Year, with Sligo RFC also nominated for Club of the Year.
Nicole Fowley completes list, as she's nominated for Women's Player of the year.
The winners will be announced at a gala event in the Galmont Hotel in Galway on Saturday, May 25th.
