Sligo senior men's rugby team completed their Energia All-Ireland League Division 2B campaing on Saturday with a 46-10 loss to Wanderers in Dublin.
The result means Josh Reeves' team finish sixth in the table and outside the promotion play-off places.
However, the team will take plenty of encouragement from an injury-interrupted season which saw them drift out of promotion contention in the second-half of the campaign.
Greystones, Belfast Harlequins, Blackrock and Corinthians claimed the top four places - with Galwegians and Ballina set to face each other again in the relegation play-off, to see who makes the drop to Division 2C next season.
Saturday's Div 2B results
Wanderers 46 Sligo 10
Ballina 14 Galwegians 20
Dungannon 7 Greystones 19
Corinthians 31 Blackrock 24
Malahide 33 Belfast Harlequins 47.
