Sligo hurlers are through to the Allianz Division 3A league final following Saturday's 0-22 to 1-14 semi-final win over Cavan at Markievicz Park.
Naomh Eoin's Gerard O'Kelly-Lynch scored 12 points for Sligo in a victory which now sees Stephen Shiel's side face Mayo in the decider.
It will be the sides second meeting in a fortnight with Mayo edging past Sligo in the regulation league fixture last weekend at Kent Park on a final scoreline of 2-12 to 0-14.
The Division 3A league final will be played next Saturday (venue & time tbc)
In Letterkenny, Mickey McCann's Donegal - without their holidaying Setanta contingent - were narrowly beaten by Tyrone in an eventful Division 2B semi-final at O'Donnell Park, with the Red Hand County edging to victory by 5-9 (24) to 3-14 (23).
