Sligo's winless streak in this year's Christy Ring Cup competition continued on Saturday at Markievicz Park with a 4-30 to 0-19 loss to Derry.
Stephen Shiels side lost all five matches in the round-robin phase of the competition to finish bottom of the Christy Ring group table.
That means relegation to the fourth tier of championship hurling, the Nickey Rackard Cup, next season.
Sligo's demotion to the Nickey Rackard was confirmed following last weekend's narrow loss to Wicklow in Aughrim.

Sligo were hampered by injury and the unavailability of some key players this season - notably Fionn Moylan (injury) and Andy Kilcullen (travel) - while other dual stars had committed to the county footballers for 2024.
