There was double delight for Ballymote apprentice jockey Darragh Keenan on Friday evening as he rode two winners in Newcastle to notch up 95 race wins - a number which secures him a full-time professional jockey licence.
Keenan was on 93 victories going into the evening meeting on Tyneside, and he secured a double for trainer Dave Evans aboard Marta Boy in the second race, and on Almost an Angel in the fourth.
Darragh spoke about his achievement with Ocean FM Sport's Austin O'Callaghan:
Darragh's mum Eileen was among the first to share news of his landmark wins on Twitter.
