Sligo-Leitrim under-14 girls soccer team's memorable run in this year's Gaynor Cup came to an end at the semi-final stage in Limerick on Thursday evening as they lost 1-0 to the Midlands League in their last-four encounter.
They will now contest the third/fourth place play-off with Dublin's Metropolitan League South on Friday.
Midlands now go on to face Carlow in the Gaynor Cup final.
