Sligo-Leitrim reached the last eight of the Oscar Traynor Cup on Sunday thanks to a 2-1 win over Galway League at Ray MacSharry Park.
Goals from Mark McGoldrick and Malachy Spratt set the home side on their way - and although Galway pulled a goal back late on through team captain Adam Duffy, Sligo-Leitrim held on to win.
They finish runners-up in the Connacht section of the Oscar Traynor and progress, along with Mayo, to the last eight of the competition.
