Seven-in-a-row chasing St Nathy's and Eoghan Rua of west Sligo will have to meet again after Saturday's Sligo LGFA Connacht Gold senior championship final ended in an exciting draw at Markeivicz Park.
It finished Nathy's 1-6 Eoghan Rua 0-9 at the end of an hour of football which see-sawed at various stages.
The holders led 1-1 to 0-3 at half-time, at the end of an opening half which saw Eoghan Rua register 10 wides.
However, Eoghan Rua regained the initiative in the second half with the introduction of Keeva Flynn proving key.
The west Sligo girls led by two points as the game ticked into the closing moments - but Blathín Gavin converted two important frees to bring Nathy's back on level terms and force a replay.
