Sligo Rovers lose 1-0 to Dundalk

Sligo Rovers suffered another loss in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division on Thursday night, going down 1-0 to Dundalk at Oriel Park.

Former Rovers play Daryl Horgan was the matchwinner in the second-half.

Rovers did have a spell of pressure in the second-half after falling behind - but in truth, this was a poor display by the visitors with Dundalk deserving winners over the 90 minutes.

This defeat, coupled with last Friday's 4-1 loss in Waterford appears to have undone the promise shown in recent victories against league leaders Shelbourne and Drogheda.

This was Rovers manager John Russell's postmatch interview with LOITV.
