Sligo hurlers were beaten by Roscommon on Saturday evening in the final of the inaugural pre-season Connacht hurling league, played at the Connacht GAA Air Dome.
Roscommon won on a final score of 2-27 to 1-21.
There were just three points between the teams at the second-half water break, but a strong final quarter from Roscommon saw them score 2-6 to pull away.
