Sligo's opening match to this year's Allianz Football Leagueu Division 3 campaign ended in a 1-17 to 0-13 loss to Offaly in Tullamore on Sunday.
The Faithful County, managed by Mickey Harte and Declan Kelly, with Coolera/Strandhill's Luke Bree also part of their coaching team, outscored Sligo by 1-10 to 0-4 in a fairly comprehensive win.
Sligo kicked fifteen wides in this game, nine of them in the second half.
